FAIRFAX FUTURES SUPPORTS NEW FAIRFAX COUNTY EARLY CHILDHOOD STRATEGIC PLAN - STRONG FOUNDATIONS, BRIGHT FUTURES

Fairfax County’s Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) Early Childhood Programs & Services division has launched the updated strategic plan: Strong Foundations, Bright Futures: A Strategy for Early Childhood in Fairfax County. The plan outlines bold action and shared goals to strengthen the early childhood system, so every child has the chance to maximize their potential.
Throughout the development of the plan, Fairfax Futures has been a critical member of the strategic planning committee. We are proud of our partnership with ECPS and other community stakeholders. The strategic plan presents a comprehensive approach with considerable community input and careful analysis to ensure the county’s work to support children, families and educators is strengthened. We are confident that this updated strategic plan serves as a critical roadmap and vision for the county, ensuring that every child is given the chance to thrive.
